Family Life Center

Pull out your PDA, log into Outlook, or simply grab a pen. Mark your calendars and plan to join Calvary Church for the celebration! On Sunday, June 28th, Calvary will hold a special 2X service in the Family Life Center Gym followed by outdoor baptisms on the lawn. If you've never attended one of our outdoor baptism services, make a note to come to this one.

Twice each year, Calvary Church comes together for one service for a single purpose -- to celebrate! We want to look back and celebrate what God has done through Calvary Church this year. Our students will be back from Hume Lake with amazing stories. Then, we will launch our summer GO teams -- people in our Calvary family who will spend time outside our walls ministering in India, Cambodia, and Kentucky this summer.

Don't forget to bring your own blanket and lawn chair for a special outdoor baptism service on the lawn in front of the Family Life Center after service. As a church family, we can celebrate together with individuals who have experienced a life change and are publicly declaring their faith in God.

PRAY FOR OUR STUDENTS AT HUME LAKE THIS WEEK

Hume Lake Camps change the lives of many of our youth. Each summer, dozens make decisions to follow Christ and form lasting relationships with one another. At the end of each camp, students have the opportunity to be baptized in Hume Lake. Please continue to pray for our middle and high school youth and their counselors as they wrap up this exciting yet life-changing week that many will never forget.

ALL CHURCH COOK-OUT
Sunday, June 28 at 12:00N

Stick around after the 2X Baptism service for an all-church family cook out immediately following the service. We'll be firing up the grill and cooking hamburgers and hot dogs. Hang out and get to know others in our church family.

We request a $5 donation per person to cover our basic cost (a maximum of $20 per family). Meals will include a hamburger or hot dog, chips, cookie and a drink.

Don & Nonie Leraas Send Their Thanks

Last month, Calvary Church said good-bye to Don & Nonie Leraas, who have faithfully served our family for over 50 years. As they relocate to Oregon, they expressed their love for the Calvary family. "We know that this is where God wants us but Calvary will always be our home."
