THIS SUNDAY @ CALVARY

JOIN US FOR REACH BEGINNING ON SUNDAY MORNING
Throughout his ministry, Jesus challenged his followers to share their faith with others. But in today’s culture, how can we reach out to others in a way that is natural and uncomplicated? In this new series, we will look at the simple truths behind building relationships with eternal values.

MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS DELIVERED 70 BACKPACKS ON MONDAY
Just a few weeks ago, the Middle School students at Calvary Church challenged the church to meet a need in our community. Their goal was to collect 30 backpacks full of school supplies for students at Capri Elementary School who couldn't afford them.
Even before the Be the Church Backpack Drive ended on Sunday, the response was overwhelming. Over 70 backpacks and an estimated $3500 of school supplies were donated for students and their families. Beyond that, a local office supply store offered to donate an additional 50 backpacks.
On Monday, several students volunteers to deliver 30 backpacks stuffed with supplies to Capri Elementary School and 40 more to the San Jose Family Shelter. The students had the opportunity to tour the shelter and catch a glimpse of the homeless problem in San Jose.
The rest of the backpacks were given to the House of Hope for families with children needing school supplies.
