As the lead pastor at Calvary Church, I am always amazed at the talent of people in our congregation. But what excited me more is when people in our family choose to use their talents and abilities for God.

At Calvary Church, we believe that everyone has the talent to serve and can be a champion in God's kingdom. We are here to help you discover that talent and get connected into a place where you can use your passions and interest in serving others.

Stephen Ministry

Want to make an impact on someone's life? Are you a caring person gifted in helping hurting people? Consider becoming a Stephen Minister! Calvary's Stephen Ministry equips lay people to provide confidential one on one christian care to individuals who are experienceing difficulties in their lives. It is an amazing opportunity to reach out and really make a difference in the lives of people within our congregation and community. When you sign up to become a Stephen Minister, we fully prepare you to meet the needs of others through a life changing training course. The training will not only equip you with the skills to help those who are hurting but it will deepen your walk with Christ. You will gain more insight about yourself and will acquire skills that can be used in your personal life. We're here for you! Shining Stars

Every other month, Shining Stars hosts a respite for children with special needs and their siblings. Shining Stars needs special "tenders" to love these children and have fun with them for the evening. Star Tenders are needed for each child to receive the one-on-one attention he or she needs. No experience is needed. Nurses and trained staff are there to assist. If you can help, contact Joyce Roberts at 408-559-3337 or joyceconnection@aol.com.

Guest Experience Teams

Do you want to make a lasting first impression on our guests on Sunday Mornings? Do you want to  see people get excited about experiencing God? By serving on our guest experience teams, you have the chance to impact people each Sunday and help prepare their hearts for what God has to say to them during our Sunday worship service. The time commitment is small but the impact is great.

Children's Ministries

9:00am & 10:45am--Infant & Toddler Helpers
Come show the littlest members of the Calvary family how much God loves them by caring for them each Sunday morning. We are looking for people that are willing to serve once a month to minister to our infants and toddlers. Your impact is felt by not only the children, but also their parents who can attend worship service without worry or distraction.

10:45am--1st - 5th Grade Small Group Leaders

This a great opportunity to impact young lives for Christ. Our elementary program is expanding and we are looking for leaders that are willing to facilitate small groups of our elementary kids on a regular basis on Sunday mornings. Your focus is on building relationships and the activities are provided for you! You have the opportunity to serve every week, twice a month, once a month or even a substitute leader.
