Student Ministries Purposes

Student Life Ministries is based on the five purposes of a church: fellowship, discipleship, service, outreach and worship. Our goal is to have students get in fellowship with God and other believers, disciple them in their relationship with God, create opportunities to serve using their gifts and abilities and have them reach out to their friends and family. All of this surrounds the worship of our Lord!

With these purposes in mind we use weekly and monthly events to accomplish this.

Fellowship (First Base) Connecting with other students and with a relationship with God is an essential part of a High School Student’s life. We have events and gatherings geared just for this purpose. These events include special events, Girls Only/Guys Only Events, retreats, camps, and Sunday Student Life.
Discipleship (Second Base) Increasing our knowledge and deepening our love for God develops wisdom. It is our desire for High School students to be able to navigate life better by allowing God to direct their path. Our discipleship ministry includes Sunday Student Life, Wednesday night small groups, Friday morning prayer, Camps, Retreats, and Counseling
Service
(Third Base)
Each High School student has abilities, interests and gifts. At Student Life high schoolers have a variety of opportunities to use their talents. These include musically, technically, ministry to children, missions trips, local work and event planning.
Outreach
(Home Plate)
It is our goal to equip students to share their faith with their friends, family and the world around them. Students are not only encouraged to bring their friends to fellowship events but to personally reach out to them and share the good news of Jesus Christ.
Worship All we do revolves around the greatness and love of our Heavenly Father. He is worthy of our worship and He is our purpose in ministry.
