Calvary Church's Special Needs Ministry

Most of us take for granted the opportunity to bring our families to church where there is a place for everyone. For families with children who have special needs this is not always an option. Our desire is that all know Calvary Church as a loving community desiring to model God’s love. We consider it a privilege to offer the services of Calvary’s Special Needs Ministry to individuals and families impacted by disabilities and special needs. Shining Stars enables families to worship and become part of the Calvary family because their children are loved and care for.


	SHINING STARS CLASSROOM is a safe and loving environment for children with significant special needs who benefit from a smaller classroom size, more individual attention, and curriculum delivered at a slower pace. Here the children experience and learn about God’s love through Bible stories, songs, activities, and art projects. We meet every Sunday at 900 a.m. in Room D113. Read More


	SHINING STARS RESPITE This program is designed especially for families of children with special needs and their siblings. Every other month, we provide these families the opportunity to leave their children in a safe, FUN, and loving environment and at the same time provides much needed time alone together for the parents/caregivers. 	SHINING STARS SUNDAY BUDDIES Some children with special needs can participate in the regular children's ministry activities if they have a Sunday Buddy to come along beside them to give them a little extra assistance. We encourage inclusion whenever possible. If you feel like your child would benefit from having a Sunday Buddy, please contact us.
